It never ceases to amaze me the sacrifices our military men and women make for our country. I just got off the phone with a bride who is planning an August wedding, and her sacrifice doesn’t go unnoticed. Her fiance is in Afghanistan as she plans for their reception on her own. Imagine the emotion she must be going through while doing this alone! And the stress of not knowing whether or not he’ll be home in time for the reception.
I do hope her other vendors take care of her, and help ease her stress in case he doesn’t make it on time. I recommend that all military brides ask for a clause in their contract that protects them from losing deposits in case their reception is delayed for military purposes.
