Your photographer and videographer have to share a lot of face time on your wedding day. Unfortunately, many of them don’t to get along, potentially jeopardizing the quality of the end product you receive. In fact, many old school photographers refuse to acknowledge the importance of wedding videographers and the product they produce.
Here’s what you can watch out for:
1. Check out your photographer’s contract. Make sure it doesn’t have a clause that prevents ANYONE ELSE from getting the same shot that they do. Believe us…it happens!
2.
Try to look for professionals that have easy-going personalities. Remember! You and your family will have to work with this person ALL DAY LONG!
3. Have a thorough conversation with both of them prior to hiring. Ask them how they’ll work together to ensure that they are both able to get the best shots.
4. If you’ve already hired your photographer and/or videographer, it isn’t too late! Have the conversation with them immediately! Let them know your concerns. A good wedding vendor will attempt to meet your needs, as long as it doesn’t jeopardize the way they do business, or the final product that you’re asking for. If it does, then you might both have to bend a little!
